# Advantco SFTP Adapter Achieves Certification as Powered by SAP NetWeaver®

Solution Delivers Secure and Managed File Transfer Through Interoperability with SAP® Solutions

 

**Raleigh, N.C. – May 19, 2009** – Advantco International LLC today announced that its *Advantco SFTP Adapter versions 2.0 and 3.0* have achieved certification as powered by the SAP NetWeaver® technology platform.  The solution, which integrates with SAP® applications, provides a secure and managed data transfer alternative to traditional FTP and FTPS.

The SAP Integration and Certification Center has certified that Advantco SFTP Adapter version 2.0 integrates with the SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI) Adapter Framework 3.0 and Advantco SFTP Adapter version 3.0 integrates with the SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (SAP NetWeaver PI) Adapter Framework 7.1 to exchange and protect critical data.

“We are delighted to announce the successful achievement of SAP certification of Advantco SFTP Adapter,” said Michael Le, CEO and President.  “The ability of Advantco SFTP Adapter to leverage the business potential of assets provided by solutions from SAP and other vendors will prove highly beneficial to current and future customer engagements.”

As a result of the certified integration, Advantco SFTP Adapter, integrated with the SAP NetWeaver XI and SAP NetWeaver PI Adapter Framework, acts as a client to receive and send data from and to an SFTP server. It shows up as a regular choice in the selection of the available adapters in the integration directory. Since Advantco SFTP Adapter uses all the existing functionalities of SAP NetWeaver PI, it delivers the same benefits as the standard SAP adapters, including but not limited to alerting, run-time workbench monitoring and channel monitoring. For security, customers can import public and/or private keys for SFTP into the standard J2EE keystore.
